Surrey Family Require Mothers Help

Surrey Family Require Mothers Help

Author -  Surrey Family

Require Mother’s Help from June 10th.

This is a lovely, friendly family who are hoping to find an enthusiastic, cheerful girl who is happy to look after three boys aged 4, 7 and 8 years old.

The husband is a management consultant and wife is an accountant/training manager.

The family live in Oxted, Surrey (just south of London). This is a small town in beautiful countryside. There is lots going on in the town and London is only 30-40 minutes away by train. The family live a 10 minutes walk from Oxted town centre which is full of lovely shops, cafes, a leisure centre (with swimming pool) and a cinema. There are a number of au-pairs and nannies in the area and the current mother’s help finds the area very sociable. The family have a large 5 bedroom detached house with a big garden overlooking the North Downs.

The family require their Mother’s Help to get the children ready for school each day, and drive them to and from school each day. They will also be required to cook and do the children’s washing and ironing. There will also be shopping asked for occasionally. A competent driver is essential and experience necessary. An automatic car is provided. The eldest son attends school 14 miles away which is about a 25 minute car journey.

The hours would be 40 per week on average with two evenings of babysitting to be agreed in advance.

The hours are between 7.00am-10.00am and then from 2.00pm-7.00pm. The mornings would include breakfast, school run, followed by light housework and organising the evening meal. The afternoon would be preparation of dinner, laundry, tidy house, school run, after school clubs, homework, play, arts and crafts, reading with the boys, dinner, bath and getting ready for bed time.

The family would appreciate someone who is happy to work slightly longer hours during school holidays.

The children are typical, young, energetic boys. They love sports (especially football) and are all reach characters – confident, engaging and fun children.

The oldest boy, aged 8 ½ years old, has ADHD and struggles at school with his concentration. He is smart and with the right motivation he can do really well. A lot of patience and a firm but fun approach is the best way to get the best out of Zac! Mum says he is a real delight. He plays the drums and enjoys Judo and Cricket at school.

Our middle boy, aged 7, is a football fanatic and is also smart. He finds school easy from an academic point of view and works hard. He also loves football and playing tennis.

Our youngest, aged 4, is a cutie pie! He is very imaginative, kind and polite. He can be a little shy at first but mum says he can also be a bossy boots at times. He only started school this year.

The Mother’s Help will have her own bright double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, high speed wifi and access to a car during the week (and often at weekends). The children have their own large playroom, which in effect will double up as a tv lounge to use in the evenings.

The Mother’s help would have weekends free and babysitting required twice during the week.

Salary offered will be £180-250 per week net, depending on age and experience.
